Alex won child of the week

So in an effort to promote self regulation and self awareness and kindness i implemented a child of the week rule in our house. When all 4 boys are here they have until Friday at dinner time to have their name put into the bucket as many times as possible. They get their name in there for things such as being ready for school and outside waiting for me. Doing something kind for someone else on their own initiative. Stuff like that. Well whoever gets their name in the bucket the most times wins a $5 prize and then we do a draw with all of the names to see who is the winner of a $2 prize. This past week alex won and for his $5 prize he chose for me to make him another super hero. So wolverine here I come O.o

I've finally finished Dylan's Christmas blanket and I re-bought the yarn for Alex's  that one is probably next on my list

So Alex decided he wants to be Batman for Halloween me being the dutiful mother has decided to make him a mask here is the finished project when you look at this picturebe sure you hear Alex his little voice going I am Batman

Nicky's sweater!!

Now i'm working on Dylan's blanket. I started his sweater but it's brutal switching between 8 balls of yarn!  So it's gonna a long time til it's done!

Taiga

My first time doing a pattern when knitting (making it with two different yarns  i mean). It's hard to see at the moment but it's coming along nicely.  Although I would have preferred a more contrast to the colors. They are too muted for my liking at the moment. I'm hoping it'll POP more once it's finished.
