Oh my X 32

I've got 32 projects that i've got all the yarn for lined up in cue!!  That's not counting the current projects already started and on the go!  Here are the next 4 i'm at least starting. Lol I can never just do one. That's kinda boring. Lol

I figure since i've finished 3 projects this week I can reward myself with some new things :)

First i'm going to make Everlong these amazing leg Warmers from nbknitting.  The grey is just the base color. I'll do a dark purple and light purple for the stripes (how shocking!)

I'm sure i'll start Fortress even before I go to bed tonight!  Also another nbknitting pattern. Can you tell I love Lisa's designs!!

Sorry about the flash. Next up yoga socks. Although I won't actually wear them for yoga as I do hot yoga and wool socks really wouldn't be the best idea i'm very excited about these as well. There are a bunch of colourful stripes in them - guess which colors i'm using. Nope not red, not blue not green, have you NOT been paying attention at all?  Lol. PURPLE DUH :)

Lastly my first pair of socks again from Lisa at nbknitting!!  Free pattern (btw)

I'll post some of the other projects in a bit :)

Vertex. Buttonless

I was running out of the darker purple so I put the light stripes on the sleeves to match the regular pattern on the lapel :)

And then there were two

Sleeves that is. Vertex just needs threads weaved in and buttons and it's complete.

Figured something out

The more and more I get used to working with double pointed needles the more flaws I find in the knitting world.

Namely loose stitches at the beginning of a new needle.

I think I have figured out a solution for this problem. At least for me and how i knit.

Shown above is how loose a final stitch is on a needle.

Backside of same stitch.

First stitch on next needle.

How loose first stitch is after knitting it.

I knit the first stich on the needle and then slip the second stitch as it to knit.

Then on the next round I pick up that missed stitch as if I was just fixing a stitch. This tightens up the stitches :)

No more loose stitches :)

Finally got around to it ...

Holds all of my 14" & 10" needles

It turned out beautifully

The knit in pocket i mean specifically at the moment.

Sewing pocket in

I thought to myself ... Why sew the pocket on after the fact?  Why not attach it as i'm knitting. Especially as my edge stitches are always loose.

So that's what I did.  I take a crochet hook and loop my end stitch around the post of my rubbed (side) stitch. Then I put the loop into my right needle as if it was just a slipped stitch.

Creates a nice fluid seam.

One pocket

One more to go.

TOMORROW

And then there were two

Sleeves that is.

Inland just needs pockets and buttons and threads weaved in and then it'll be done :)

Haha take that!

Un did the last row. Did it a tiny bit tighter and now i've finished the cuff :). 1 more sleeve and 2 pockets and my inland sweater is done :)

Soo close!

I have 5 sts left to cast off and i only have 3" of yarn left from this ball grrrr

Twiggy is officially finished!

I absolutely love it and it's nice and warm!!  Couldn't be more thrilled.

Did have one issue. Not sure if I did the sleeves right. When I put them onto the dpns and then started working there ended up a hole under the arms... I'm gonna to to the wool queen and ask her.

Double points are here!!

Yarny-goodness from etsy

More yarny-goodness was just dropped off!  I love when you've waited and waited and waited for stuff and it finally shows up.

Purples is a worsted weight i'm making nbknitting Canucks socks out of.

Green and purple is a worsted weight i'm doing the knitted trap wrap (etsy pattern - robinjedmundson)

The plum is for nbknitting pattern altostratus.

It's gonna be beautiful!

It's coming along. About 1/2 way through the first directive

This will be the shoulder part that you see in my hand. So loving #nbknitting patterns!!

Yes I know it's yet another project

I got the yarn for this sweater yesterday while Jackie and I were at never enough wool out in port perry and i'm just too excited to to start it :)

It's a rustic Aran tweed. It's so beautiful. $24.95 a ball but there is 400g (760 yds) per ball.

That's the base color. The other color is a light mauve color.
I'm so excited. And I just can't hide it. I'm about to loose control and I think I like it!!

My coffee is too hot

So i'm making a warmer. Well trying to.
