Andie said I should do a dress. Lol this wasn't the one I was planning on doing next but I already had the grey yarn out and I just made a purple vest so I think a new color was in order :)
Another one bites the dust
The purple yarn ran out so I trimmed it with grey. Looks beautiful. Can't wait to wear it!!
Winter tree
Once my Canadian flag Mapleleaf Shawl was done I decided to make my Wintertree vest.
Ohhhhh how many threads I had to weave in!!

I love how it turned out. Took me about 3 days to make. I hadn't intended to do it til the fall as it's done with 100% wool and is much more a 3 season vest then a summer one lol. But I LOVE IT!!!

I loved the maple leaf shawl the moment I saw it listed on sopher creeks fb page.

But when I went to buy the wool they didn't have enough red left. So I improvised. Used my Canadian-ish-ness and made it more flagish
It was also my first venture into blocking...
By far the most intricate work i've ever knit.
