Oh canada!!

I loved the maple leaf shawl the moment I saw it listed on sopher creeks fb page. 

But when I went to buy the wool they didn't have enough red left. So I improvised. Used my Canadian-ish-ness and made it more flagish

It was also my first venture into blocking...

By far the most intricate work i've ever knit. 

Took about 5 days to make (full days!!)

18 pages of pattern instructions 

Mistakes made along the way and fixed as well. 

So many threads to weave ends!
